3D Ultrasound
A 3D ultrasound machine
collects data on the body interior through ray
casting and collecting, then it constructs and smoothes
this data and finally outputs it into a visual 3D
image.
The apparatus itself is comprised of a
module for each step, such as a collection (acquisition)
module, selection module for isolating areas, monitor for
seeing the process, printout/developer to see the final
images, etc…
This 3D ultrasound invention can avoid a
very large amount of unnecessary reconstruction
calculations by using the its new processing
and construction methods, as well as by the
transformation of coordinates of certain points when
necessary. This machine has a greater ultrasound
capability and applicability, since the other ultrasound
technologies require the radiuses of probes and rotation
to be identical.
